Nonfob, short for non-functional objects, was a project where I created the promotional materials for a fictional exhibit based on a personal collection. As an avid collector of all kinds of kitschy little knick-knacks, it only seemed right to give them a proper spotlight. I chose to display the items in the poster in a way that mimics how they are actually displayed in my home, jumbled up and crowding each other on a shelf. I pulled the color palette directly from some of the key items. I decided to use primarily hand-drawn typography to amplify the personal and homey feelings that objects embody.
